MIKIMOTO
Art direction and animation for Mikimoto's 125th anniversary — a teaser film and a 2-3 minute historical work exhibited in Tokyo. Visual storytelling for one of Japan's most enduring luxury houses.
The concept followed a single pearl on its journey into the mysterious depths from which it was formed. I designed the piece with deep blacks and rich blues, echoing the atmosphere of the exhibition space and allowing the pearl and featured jewelry to shine as luminous beacons against the darkness.
